Making a Donation
|  Crossroads Adoption Services is a non-profit adoption agency licensed by the State of Minnesota and having an IRS standing of 501 c 3 . We appreciate all donations, large and small. We will confirm your donation in writing so that you will have proof for your income tax file.
HOW DONATIONS ARE USED
Your donation directly benefits children. Donations are frequently used to fund our Adoptionship Program. Adoptionship funds are used to defray costs incurred when placing a child with special needs into an adoptive home.

- Your personal check is always welcome. If you would like to donate in honor of a loved one’s birthday or anniversary, we will gladly send a notice of your generosity to the honoree if you will enclosed a full name and address with your donation.
- United Way: Many of our adoptive parents and friends donate through their work during the annual United Way appeal. As Crossroads is not listed on the United Way pages, please write Crossroads Adoption Services in the blank provided on the donor form. We receive these monies quarterly from the various United Way Campaigns.
- Making a difference event: Crossroads is beginning a program which will allow the whole family to raise funds for our special children. Would you like to gather friends and family for a Walk-a-thon or a garage sale or an event of your choosing Crossroads has Event Packets which you can order. Please e-mail kids@crossroadsadoption.com if you are interested in helping.
- Donate Stock Do you own highly appreciated property, such as stock This can be an attractive way to make a charitable contribution! When you transfer ownership of highly appreciated property directly to an agency such as Crossroads Adoption Services, you:
* Receive a charitable tax deduction for the full market value at the date of transfer
* Pay no taxes on the capital gain you would have realized had you sold the property
